  • Dr. Delroy McFarlane is pleased to announce his new focused medical practice in obesity treatment. He is board certified in Obesity Medicine and Internal Medicine. He will start seeing patients help control the disease obesity and the medical conditions associated with obesity.

    Obesity is at epidemic levels in our country. The health costs and financial costs are staggering. CDC projects by the year 2007, 75% of Americans of all ages and all nationalities will be overweight. Type II Diabetes is growing at epidemic rates.  Dr. McFarlane will be using various treatment protocols in his approach to patients who are overweight and those with obesity.

    He is also a board-certified internal medicine physician and a member of the American College of Physicians, California Medical Association and American Medical Association. He treats patients with both acute and chronic medical illnesses. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and completed his internal medicine residency at San Joaquin General Hospital.
