In regards to my approximate 15 minute wait time in the exam room, there had been circumstances beyond the control of the office staff on the morning of my appointment. This was explained to me, and I have no problem or criticism of the delay once a reason for my wait was explained. In regards to my dissatisfaction with contacting the office on the phone, having to go through the FCPP switchboard or starting point each time I call is a bit frustrating. This always makes my wait time on the phone at least 1 to 3 minutes longer. Once I am an established patient, as I have been for a few years now, I would really like to be able to call directly to my doctor's office. The few minute delay and relay system that you currently have in place may seem acceptable on your end of things, but it is a nuisance and a bother. I would like to say that this is the only drawback I feel. It may be slight, but I am reminded of it each time I pick up the phone to call. A streamlined call in process would really be appreciated.
